Suited Poker Cards
Whenever there are suited cards on board there is a possibility of a flush. You will be dealt suited cards 23.5 percent of the time. Here are the odds for making a flush.
With two suited cards

Then making the flush with
2 cards to come (9 outs) 35 1.9 to 1
Flopping three for a complete flush 0.84 118 to 1
Flopping one of your suit 41.6 14 to 1

Making a flush of a different suit

Connectors
There are many combinations of cards that you use to make a straight. It is easiest when you start with maximum connectors. Max connectors are two cards adjacent to each other with three cards open on each end. There are seven sets of max connectors. They are 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-T, and T-J. The chart below shows the odds for certain situations.
